APEX Executive Team

The APEX Executive Team is one of the most experienced in the industry. With backgrounds in information technology, finance and business operations, the APEX leadership team has created a large, successful company that delivers the service of a small firm.

Brian Kueppers — CEO

The founder and CEO of APEX, Brian Kueppers is an industry pioneer with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of St. John’s University, he has worked with some of the largest healthcare organizations in the nation, streamlining their statement processing and helping them find cost saving solutions. Today, Brian personally works with a wide variety of industries and has transformed APEX to meet each industry’s specific needs.

Patrick Maurer — President

Also a graduate of St. John’s University, Patrick Maurer has served as APEX’s president for two years, architecting their online offerings. Before joining APEX, Maurer was Executive Vice President and Sr. Operations Officer for SPS Commerce.

Warren Becker — CFO

A graduate of Winona State University, Warren Becker serves as Chief Financial Officer for APEX. Previously Becker was Corporate Controller of IntriCon Corporation and also worked for Ernst & Young, LLP.

Betty VanGorder — Director of Implementation

With eight years of experience at APEX, Betty Van Gorder has played a number of key roles throughout the company, including Director of Finance/HR, Controller and her current position as Director of Implementation. She is a graduate of Augsburg College.
