APEX Executive Team

The founder and CEO of APEX, Brian Kueppers is an industry pioneer with over 20 years of experience. Brian has worked with some of the largest healthcare organizations in the nation, streamlining their statement processing and helping them find cost saving solutions. Today, Brian personally works with a wide variety of industries, and has created a company that is nimble in a variety of constantly changing and adapting environments.

Brian Kueppers — CEO

The founder and CEO of APEX, Brian Kueppers is an industry pioneer with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of St. John’s University, he has worked with some of the largest healthcare organizations in the nation, streamlining their statement processing and helping them find cost saving solutions. Today, Brian personally works with a wide variety of industries and has transformed APEX to meet each industry’s specific needs.

Patrick Maurer — President

Serving as APEX’s President for the past two years, Patrick Maurer has been pivotal in the architecting and implementation of APEX’s online product offerings as well as automating their production processing. Prior to APEX, Patrick worked as Executive Vice President and Sr. Operations Officer for SPS Commerce, a software as a service (SAAS) electronic data interchange (EDI) company, helping large retail organizations improve their supply chain efficiency.

Warren Becker — CFO

A graduate of Winona State University, Warren Becker serves as Chief Financial Officer for APEX. Previously Becker was Corporate Controller of IntriCon Corporation and also worked for Ernst & Young, LLP.

Betty VanGorder — Director of Implementation

With eight years of experience at APEX, Betty Van Gorder has played a number of key roles throughout the company, including Director of Finance/HR, Controller and her current position as Director of Implementation. She is a graduate of Augsburg College with her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and minoring in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Administration.
